Benzethonium chloride is a synthetic quaternary ammonium salt with surfactant, antiseptic and anti-infective properties. It exhibits micro biocidal activity against a broad range of bacteria, fungi, mold and viruses. It has also been found to have significant broad-spectrum anticancer activity.
